I would like to thank you all for using YACReader, for becoming part of the community and for all your help testing pre-release, and providing feedback. If it doesn’t appear in System Report, it may be time to reach out to Apple Support for guidance. I know it doesn't look like much, but a lot of work has been done to keep the project in good shape, it is not visible for the final user yet, but it will pay off in the long term. Check the System Report under Hardware > USB to see if your MacBook detects that a device is connected as outlined here:Ībout System Information on your Mac - Apple Support Reconnect your eReader using the USB cable that came with the device directly to your MacBook If you’re still not able to get your eReader to show, try this: You can find a great library of troubleshooting details for your Kobo eReaders on the Kobo support page. Note that one of the steps outlines checking for an update. We suggest starting with the steps outlined in “Get the best performance from your USB devices” here:Ībout USB on Mac computers - Apple Support

It sounds like you’ve installed the Kobo Desktop app on your MacBook, and you’ve tried connecting with various cables, to no avail. We understand that you’re trying to connect your Kobo Clara HD eReader to your new MacBook Air, but your MacBook isn’t detecting that your eReader is connected via the USB ports.
